Noor Cuppen is a driven, enthusiastic and incisive lawyer with strong academic interests. 

She is involved in all issues of employment law, including: 

  • advising and litigating on (changes to) terms and conditions of employment;
  • (individual) dismissals;
  • integrity issues;
  • non-compete and non-solicitation clauses; and 
  • (international) employee co-determination.

Noor joined Palthe Oberman as a legal assistant in 2017 and as a lawyer in 2018. She studied at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Copenhagen and pursued a master’s in corporate law and master’s in employment law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2022, Noor graduated (cum laude) from the employment law specialisation course at the Grotius Academy. 

Noor regularly publishes articles on employment law topics in academic journals. She is also an editorial board member of the journal European Employment Law Cases (EELC).

Noor Cuppen has registered the following main (and sub) legal practice areas in the Dutch Bar Association’s register of legal practice areas:

  • Employment law
  • Collective dismissals
  • International employment law
  • Employee co-determination

Based on this registration, she is obliged to obtain 10 continuing education points in each registered main legal practice area every calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
