Jim Koenis is a pragmatic and versatile lawyer.
Jim has been affiliated with Palthe Oberman since 2023. Jim was sworn in as a lawyer in 2014. Before focusing entirely on employment law, Jim had a more general practice, gaining experience in contract, construction and criminal law. Jim completed the master’s degree in employment law and private law practice at the University of Amsterdam (2012). In 2022, he completed the postgraduate specialisation course in employment law (cum laude) at the Grotius Academy.
Jim Koenis has registered the following main (and sub) legal practice areas in the Dutch Bar Association’s register of legal practice areas:

Based on this registration, he is obliged to obtain 10 continuing education points in each registered main legal practice area every calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
